Valley Memorial Park Funeral Home was purposely designed in 2008 as a "VALUE CONCIOUS ALTERNATIVE" to many of the other higher priced typical funeral homes in our area.    We invite price comparison.  We are located in Washington county on the beautiful grounds of Valley Memorial Park.  Our funeral home staff can assist you in making meaningful and practical funeral or cremation arrangements with a memorial or funeral at the location of your choice and for final placement at the cemetery of your choice. We realize that each individual family is unique.  By providing personalized service with reasonable prices at each of our three locations, we have separated ourselves from many typical funeral homes and cemeteries.  Our cemetery was founded in 1958 on the site of an old family farm. We are fortunate to be in a unique and beautiful "nature-like" setting with over 40 acres of natururally designed landscape including a 6 acre lake with abundant wildlife and nature trails surrounding our property along Rock Creek. We are currently working on a multi-year year project in cooperation with the City of Hillsboro and Jackson Bottoms Wetlands to "restore and improve" many of our natural areas bordering Rock Creek and surrounding our private lake.  This project will provide for many walking trails and observation areas for the general public to enjoy.  We are also the only cemetery in the greater Portland area offering a beautiful "natural" area dedicated soley to sustainable "green burial" practices.  The trust that thousands of Oregonians have placed in us is not taken lightly.
